Kellogg's introduces new label for heart-healthy cereal options
Kellogg's, a producer of cereals and convenience foods in North America, has introduced a new front-of-pack label for its fiber-rich heart-healthy cereal options.
Under the new initiative, 'Kellogg's Heart Healthy Selection' logo will appear on nine varieties, including Kellogg's Raisin Bran, All Bran, Smart Start, and Kellogg's FiberPlus.
Kellogg director of marketing for adult cereal Dick Podiak said that brands such as Kellogg's Raisin Bran, All Bran, Smart Start and FiberPlus - have been long time favorites.
"Now we've added the 'Kellogg's Heart Healthy Selection' logo on the front panel of these products, so people can easily make the right choice when they're seeking a heart-healthy breakfast," Podiak added.
In addition, the company is also introducing a new variety with Raisin Bran - Cinnamon Almond. The new product is a good source of fiber with whole grain, and it combines the taste of Kellogg's Raisin Bran with the taste of cinnamon and almonds.
